5 TIPS TO GROW YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWERS

I’m going to give you five tips to grow your social media accounts!
Tip #1 – Stay Active
Staying active is key when trying to bring more followers to your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media accounts. Don’t go too long without posting something or commenting on someone’s post. If you can, post at least once a day and like a few posts. It can make all the difference.
Tip #2 – Attractive Content
You always want to have a nice and attractive page, so that when people scroll down their feed and see your posts they want to stop and look at it. Make sure that your account is consistent. Don’t switch on and off from posting things that are talking about your business and then suddenly switch to talking about your family. Either do one or the other. People don’t like when you’re always changing the way you post, it’s too hard to keep up with.
Tip #3 – Keep it relevant and personal
People like to know stuff about you and when they feel like they know you, then they like the idea of doing business with you. So use the Instagram and Facebook stories to let people get to know you. Do a story every once in a while and talk about how you just got a new product that you just brought to the business, or about that 30% off sale that’s going on. Just show your face and talk for a few minutes, or do a live video and have a Q. and A. time.
Tip #4 – #hashtags
Hashtags are another important thing to keep in mind when trying to think of ways to grow your accounts.Use plenty of hashtags when you post. Anything that relates to your business you can put it in there. Hashtags make it so that lots of people see your content. Hashtags can make the difference of getting 5 follows or 20.
Tip #5 – Algorithm
Instagram has a new algorithm where you only see the posts from accounts that you like the most posts from. So if you have an Instagram account then you want to post stuff that people like and that they want to see more of, so that they go and follow you and then from there look at your website. Take a poll and ask people what they would like to see more of on your page. Then add more of what they like to your accounts. You can do this on any of your other social media accounts too, it doesn’t just have to Instagram.
